El Plantio 10th April Match Report 2025
On April 10, 2025, the Inbetweeners Golf Society braved blustery conditions at El Plantio for a lively home game, demonstrating admirable enthusiasm and unwavering determination.
Despite the challenging weather, the competitive spirit shone through, resulting in some impressive scores and a thoroughly enjoyable day for all involved.
The coveted Nearest the Pin awards were claimed by Dave Slightam on Hole 7, and the in-form Ruud van Meggelen, who triumphed on both Hole 9 and Hole 18.
The day’s overall winners were equally deserving,
with Jim Fegan securing 3rd place with 38 points,
Pete Stevenson narrowly missing out on the top spot with 39 points,
and Frank Cullen emerging victorious with a stellar 40-point performance.
Following the round, the society adjourned to the clubhouse for well-earned refreshments and the prize-giving ceremony, presided over by the captain.
