Inbetweeners Golf Society Away Trip to La Sella, Denia

This year, the members of the Inbetweeners Golf Society enjoyed another fantastic two-day golf trip to La Sella Golf Course in Denia, staying at the Marriott hotel, where everyone was made to feel very welcome.

Although the weather forecast for the two days predicted cloudy skies and rain, the weather gods were firmly on our side. Conditions were perfect for golf, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures steadily climbing throughout the mornings.

For some members, this was their first experience of playing at La Sella, and that certainly showed in the first day's results!
However, the second day proved to be a very different story.
Whether it was the vino from the night before helping to numb the aching limbs, or simply a better understanding of the course, nobody was prepared to admit to anything!

The three nine-hole courses, offering a great variety of challenges, were all in excellent condition. However, the greens certainly gave members plenty to think about, with more than a few heads being scratched along the way.

Having watched the LPGA players make the same greens look deceptively easy on Sky Sports just a few weeks earlier, our members soon discovered that watching the professionals and doing it yourself are two very different things!
